A George III, Sheraton period canterbury. Made from Cuban mahogany and with five dividers and a central carry handle, the canterbury has a single drawer and stands on elegant reeded legs that have brass cup casters. Dating from the late 18th century this canterbury is about as early an example one will find and is a good untouched country house colour.

“This canterbury dating from the late 18th century demonstrates the elegance that is typical of the Sheraton period. It is about as early in date that one will find a canterbury."
