Hungerford Shop:
Located in the historic Berkshire market town of Hungerford, our shop is open from Monday to Saturday. Hungerford is just over an hour’s drive from West London and there is a train station in the town. This busy shop is the hub of our business operation with the stock constantly changing as we are always searching for and buying new and interesting pieces. If you are planning a visit and need any recommendations for local restaurants, pubs or hotels please do get in contact. Hungerford also has a number of other shops with a wide variety of antiques on offer.

Antique Shows:
Each year we exhibit at a number of antique fairs both in England and America. We see this as vital part of our business as we love to travel and meet old clients and new and personally present our stock. Our stands are renowned for always having a varied mix of furniture, objects and works of art from the late 17th to mid-20th century always with quality being the common theme. A list of shows we are planning to exhibit this year is published both on the Home and Shows page on this web site. Should you wish to visit any particular show where we are exhibiting please do get in touch and we will make sure you receive complimentary tickets.

Catalogues:
Twice yearly colour catalogues are produced and then mailed to our clients around the world. This allows you to keep up to date with our most recent purchases with some pieces being held back from the web site until they have been featured in the catalogue. Should you wish to receive future copies please let us have your details by email and we will be delighted to add you to our catalogue mailing list.

Restoration:
The family restoration business was establish nearly sixty years ago by my father William Cook Snr. Since then its clients have included The Royal family, museums, collectors, dealers and private clients from around the world. Today its run by my brothers Stephen and Richard Cook who are continuing the family tradition of restoring to the highest standard. As well as working on fine antique furniture and the continued maintenance of collections for clients, the business has expanded and now undertakes commissions to make bespoke pieces of furniture and more recently, handmade sweeping bannister rails for both period and new build properties. They also offer a full onsite waxing service that allows collections to be kept in perfect order.
