An 18th century decorated longcase clock. With the original 30 hour movement by John Tribe of Petworth this clock strikes every hour and retains the original surface decoration. It is in working order and is a lovely small size.  John Tribe is recorded as working in Petworth during the mid to third quarter of the eighteenth century.  Please note that the actual colour is better than shown in the images.

“A lovely decorated clock that measures only 83" high and so able to fit into any cottage".
