A superb Regency period console or serving table. Made from well figured Cuban mahogany, the table has a gallery back that is decorated with bold foliate and shell carving. The table with  double frieze drawers and standing on unusual carved front legs with decorative feet.  It is of excellent quality, a superb colour, has great patination and is strongly attributed to the Dublin cabinet making firm Mack, Williams & Gibton. They were responsible for furnishing some of the finest houses in Ireland during the late 18th/early 19th century’s including Four Courts, Dublin Castle and the Vice Regal Lodge. The height of the serving top is 38″ with the gallery being 19″.
