A Regency period Chinese export work box. Of superb quality and retaining the original chinoiserie decoration, the lid opens to reveal a complete and fully fitted interior that lifts out. The box also has a pull out drawer that is again fitted with an internal hinged lid. It stands on finely carved and gilded feet. Crucially the decoration is complete and in completely untouched condition.
