Of excellent quality and colour, the bookcase veneered in figured walnut and with herring bone inlaid bandings throughout. The bookcase with a pediment top that has a carved and gilded cartouche. The arched panel doors with carved decoration and inset mirror plates and the bureau with a fitted interior, four long graduating drawers and standing on bold ogee feet with carved decoration. Of good colour throughout, this is an exceptional example of an early 18th century walnut cabinet.
