A set of SIX pastel studies of horses by Leslie Charlotte Benenson (1941-2018). With great charm, these pastel and pencil drawings each have the artists notations of when they were drawn. They retain their original colours and as was her technique, would have been drawn in real time. Benenson was a member of the RA (Royal Academy) in London and exhibited her work there on a number of occasions. As well at the Royal Academy, her work can also be seen in the Ashmolean in Oxford and numerous private collections.
