A Set Of Regency Period Steel And Brass Handled Fire Tools

Circa: 1820

Height: 28"

Period: Regency

Location: Hungerford

A set of early 19th century fire tools. Dating from the mid Regency period, the tools are made from steel that has a great untouched lustre and the handles are bold well cast brass. The tongs are in good working order and the shovel has an unusual pieced lyre pattern. Without question this is a first class set.

"A really decent first class set of early 19th century fire tools of a very good weight and quality.
