A set of NINE late 19th/early 20th century large metal painted honours shields. These shields have come from the public school Sutton Valence in Kent and would been hung in the main hall to honour the former pupils who had won scholarships to Cambridge, become officers in the British Army or obtained important positions in the British Empire. They retain their original decoration and when hung together have a really great look. One of the shields still has the makers label applied to the back

“When these large honour shields are hung all together, they form a great looking arrangement."
