A set of four early 19th century Regency period aquatints. Each showing a different aspect of shooting in the early 19th century entitled Pheasant Shooting, Grouse Shooting, Partridge Shooting and Packing Up.These aquatints are by James Pollard (1792-1867) after his original pictures and etched by him. They were published by Dean & Munday in 1825 and each has the trade label of the famed London firm of Ackermann to the reverse. They are of excellent quality, retain their original vibrant colour and are in quality Ackermann frames with decorative metal corners.
