A set of EIGHT George III dining chairs. Made from Cuban mahogany the set consists of two arms and six singles. Their backs are decorated with carving and the chairs have drop in seats above square legs that are joined by a stretcher. They are in the manner of Gillow and a good rich colour. The chairs have the label of Norman Adams who during the mid/late 20th century were considered to be one of the worlds leading furniture dealers and known for superb colour and excellent patination. The width of the arm chairs is 24 inches and the width of the singles is 21.5″.
