A Regency period rosewood canterbury. Made from solid rosewood, the canterbury has five dividers, two of which are removable to allow for larger books  and central carrying handle. The  drawer retains the original brass handle and the canterbury stands on turned legs with brass cup casters. It is of good quality, colour and patination throughout.

“Regency rosewood canterbury's that are an untouched colour are difficult to find and this is a really decent example and its unusual to find one like this with removable dividers."
