Dating from the Regency period, the table is made from best quality Cuban mahogany. With a dish top, it has a column that has carved decoration and stands on a splay base. The table is unusual in that it has carved decoration in the style of various periods, all of which is original. From the quality and unusual design, the table is attributed to the workshop of Gillow. It is of very good quality and colour. Its size makes it ideal to act as a small occasional or drinks table.
