Made from well figured Cuban mahogany, the table has a swivel top that opens to reveal a mahogany interior. With a carved central column on a four splay base that is again carved the table is of excellent colour throughout. The table is attributed to the celebrated Dublin cabinet making firm of Mack, Williams & Gibton who supplied furniture to some of the finest houses in Ireland during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. They also were commissioned to supply furniture for Dublin Castle and the Vice Regal Lodge.
