A Regency Period Convex Mirror

Circa: 1800

Depth: 3"

Width: 27"

Period: Regency

Location: Hungerford

A Regency period convex mirror. Of a good size the mirror is well gilded and the moulded frame has applied gilt balls. The original convex mirror is bordered by an ebonised slip and the mirror retains the original back boards. The makers trade label, dating from the Regency period is still visible on the back.

"Original convex mirrors of this width are becoming increasing difficult to find and this lovely example still has the original makers label applied to the back".
