Made from Cuban mahogany, the mirror with an oval cross grain moulded frame that encloses the original plate. The base with ebony stringing inlay and decorative applied mounts. Standing on original brass bun feet. The mirror is of excellent quality and colour and almost certainly been commissioned to sit on a bow fronted chest.
