An early and rare 19th century Chinese export table display cabinet. In original condition the cabinet is of excellent quality and the fine decoration is in perfect order. Whilst it is not uncommon to find Chinoiserie tea caddies and work boxes this is the first table display cabinet that I have seen. It would have been a specific commission to display an important piece of Oriental porcelain.
