Made from mahogany and with ebony stringing inlay, the tables are in the George III, Sheraton period style but were bench made during the mid-20th century. They are of good quality and a mellow country house colour. Pairs of such tables are difficult to find and it is reasonable to assume that circa 1930/50’s, these were commissioned from a good workshop. Such is their style, quality and colour, they will work seamlessly in any period bedroom interior.
