Made from Cuban mahogany and of excellent quality, the boxes are of serpentine form and have figured tops. They retain the original fitted interiors and are of excellent quality and colour. They are of a good size and would have been an expensive commission in the 18th century, being fitted with a silver twelve piece cutlery service.
