Period: Mid 19th Century

A pair of oak 17th century style stools. Although 17th century in style these stools are infact circa 1850. They are made from oak and have carved decoration and barley twist legs. They still have their traditional upholstery  and are ready have top covers fitted. They retain the original fringed braid and the seats are sprung. The colour and the patination on the oak is very good and as it would be on a a 17th century pair of stools.

“A good looking and large pair of oak stools that whilst not actually being 17th century in date, certainly have that look and will easily work in an early interior."
