Sam Marriott studied under John Kenny and was a keen follower of the Fernie Hunt where he was often seen sketching and painting at hunt meetings. The majority of his work was for private collections and whilst he specialised in equestrian and hunting scenes he often also painted racing scenes at Aintree and Haydock Park during the 1960’s & 1970’s. His work was also reproduced in print form. Although from  as a pair, this oil on board painting can be sold individually. The price given is for the single painting.
