A Narrow Queen Anne Period Walnut Veneered Kneehole Desk

Circa: 1700

Depth: 18.5"

Height: 31"

Width: 29.5"

Period: Queen Anne

Location: Hungerford

Dating from the very early 18th century, the kneehole desk is walnut veneered. The banded and quarter veneered top has four quirk corners and the central kneehole has inset drawers. Standing on bracket feet, the desk is well figured and of a very good colour. At only 29.5″ wide, it is narrower than usual and this gives it a charming appearance. Dating from the late William & Mary/early Queen Anne period and is circa 1705.
