A Late 17th Century Oak Chest Of Drawers

Circa: 1690

Depth: 22.5"

Height: 36.5"

Width: 39"

Period: William & Mary

Location: Hungerford

Made from oak, this chest dates from the late 17th century. It has a planked top above moulded drawer fronts and stands on the original feet. It is a good dark untouched colour with a wax patinated surface. It is unusual to find such an early example especially one with the original feet.

“Chests of drawers this early date and in this condition are difficult to find and this is a very decent example."
