A Large Queen Anne Period Walnut Dressing Mirror

Circa: 1700

Depth: 8.5"

Height: 33.5"

Width: 17"

Period: Queen Anne

Veneered in walnut, the mirror with a cross grain moulded frame above a stepped base part that is fitted with drawers that retain their original penny ring handles (one handle replaced).  Standing on bracket feet the mirror is of excellent quality, colour and patination. The mirror is larger than one normally sees and would have been an expensive commission for a wealthy patron.

“A rare Queen Anne period dressing mirror of unusually large size."
