A pair of late 19th century  Gainsborough armchairs. Made from mahogany, the chairs with a serpentine top rail and arms that like the legs, are decorated with blind fret. The chairs have turned stretchers, leather wheeled casters and are a  good colour. They are upholstered with sprung seats and covered in a tufted silk fabric. They are very comfortable to sit in and of a generous size.
