Dating from the early 18th century, the caddy is veneered in walnut, inlaid with decorative bandings and cross banded on all sides. The caddy retains the original bracket feet and the lid opens to reveal a sectional interior. It is a very good colour with a leather like patinated surface. Both the escutcheon and swan neck handle are original.
