A George Ist Walnut Veneered Lowboy Of Good Colour

Circa: 1720

Depth: 20"

Height: 30"

Width: 30"

Period: George I

Location: Hungerford

The lowboy with a quarter veneered and banded top that like the drawer fronts, is inlaid with decorative herringbone bandings. It retains the original brass plate handles and stands on cabriole legs with pad feet. The quality, colour and patination are all excellent and it is a really good example of an unspoilt early 18th century walnut piece of furniture.

“A classic piece of early 18th century walnut that has the desired qualities of colour and originality."
