A George III, Sheraton period sofa table. Made from Cuban mahogany and with decorative ebony stringing inlay, the table has drawers one side and dummy panels to the reverse. It has an elegant splay base with a high stretcher and both the colour and patination are wonderful and untouched. At just under 26″ deep, the table is narrower than usual. The table has come from a private house and has been in the same family since at least the late 19th century.
