A set of TWELVE fabulous pastel studies of thoroughbred mares & foal by Leslie Charlotte Benenson (1941-2018). Of exceptional quality and with great charm, these pastel and pencil drawings each have the artists notations of when they were executed the mares names. For any lover of equestrian art, they are exceptional in their detail and accurate reflection of the charm and character of thoroughbred foals. Benenson was a member of the RA (Royal Academy) in London and exhibited her work there on a number of occasions. As well at the Royal Academy, her work can also be seen in the Ashmolean in Oxford.
