A set of SIX pastel studies of working cowboys horses by Leslie Charlotte Benenson (1941-2018). With great charm, these pastel and pencil drawings each have the artists notations of when they were executed. They capture the essence of the working cowboy and would have been drawn in real time. Bebenson was a member of the RA (Royal Academy) in London and exhibited her work there on a number of occasions. As well at the Royal Academy, her work can also be seen in the Ashmolean in Oxford and numerous private collections.
