A Sheraton style satinwood veneered secretaire bookcase with a pediment top. Veneered in well figured satinwood and banded in kingwood, the bookcase has a pediment top that has urn finials and like the secretaire drawer front, painted  floral decoration. The vase shaped astragal doors are above a base that has a fully fitted secretare interior and further drawers. The shaped apron between splay bracket feet. The bookcase is a very good rich colour and has silver plated oval handles.
