A 19th century French walnut veneered console table. With a figured quarter veneered top above a single frieze drawer and standing on shaped supports with a platform base. It is unusual to find console tables with a veneered top rather than the usual marble one. In this case the top is unusually quarter veneered and the colour throughout the whole table can only described as fabulous.
