A 19th century cast iron stick stand in the form of William Wallace (Braveheart). Of first class quality, the stick stand is attributed to the Falkirk foundry in Scotland. This foundry was equal to the English foundry of Coalbrookdale and the stick stand has the foundry marks to both the back of the figure and the removable drip tray. It retains the original decoration to the surface and at 31″ high, is a decent size.

"A really good stick stand to grace any entrance hall or perhaps even be beside a fireplace in order to hold the fire tools".
