Dating from the mid 19th century, this cabinet is veneered in figured walnut, has fine marquetry inlay and applied ormolu mounts that retain their original finish. With its shallow depth, large cupboard and glass bow ends, it is of very good quality and colour. This cabinet retains the original bun feet, which is unusual as normally similar examples have lost their feet.
