A set of three fabulous pastel studies of a thoroughbred mare & her foal by Leslie Charlotte Benenson (1941-2018). Of exceptional quality and with great charm, these pastel and pencil drawings have the artists notations of when they were executed the mares name. For any lover of equestrian art, they are exceptional in their detail and an accurate reflection of the charm and character of a mare & foal. Benenson was a member of the RA (Royal Academy) in London and exhibited her work there on a number of occasions. As well at the Royal Academy, her work can also be seen in the Ashmolean in Oxford.
