A Regency Period Linen Press With Original Trays

Circa: 1810

Depth: 23"

Height: 77"

Width: 50"

Period: Regency

Location: Hungerford

A Regency period linen press. Made from Cuban mahogany, the press with a cross banded cornice above twin, well figured doors that open to reveal the original sliding linen shelves. The base with two short and two long drawers that retain their original brass lion mask knob handles and the press standing on original tall shaped bracket feet. Of good quality and colour throughout.

“I was delighted to be able to buy this totally original and well figured linen press from a local private house. At only 77 inches tall its lower than usual and so will suit a space where many linen presses wouldn't."
