A Regency Period Figured Mahogany Extending Dining Table

Circa: 1810

Depth: 53"

Height: 29.5"

Width: 112"

Period: Regency

Location: Hungerford

Made from figured Cuban mahogany, the table stands on four elegant legs with carved tops and brass cup casters. The top opens on bearers and has three loose leaves, all of which are well figured. With a decorative frieze the knee height clearance is 25 inches, meaning it can easily be sat under. The quality and colour are both very good and the table is very stable. Each removable leaf is 19.5 inches.

“A good looking Regency dining table with a highly figured top."
