A pair of large 19th century French armchairs. Made from walnut, the chairs have wonderfully carved decoration to the arms and lion paw feet. They have sprung seats and so are very comfortable to sit in and are upholstered in an Italian cotton and silk damask. The walnut arms and legs are a very good colour.
