A pair of great looking framed Chinese ancestral portraits from the Quing dynasty (1644-1912). The portraits are in ink and color on paper and show a husband and wife, both dressed in their court robes. The husband wears a fur lined dark blue robe with a civil rank badge bearing a white pheasant, with his wife also wearing a similar rank badge over the center of her robe. Both have patterned jade coloured pattern blankets over their chairs and marble foot rests with great detail being paid to their faces, ornate jewelry and accessories. Circa 19th century. They are both framed and under glass.
