Dating from the early 19th century, the desk is made from best quality figured Cuban mahogany. The character black leather top is above a central long drawer. The desk is shaped and stands on casters with the quality and colour both being excellent. The height of the kneehole is 24.5″, meaning that the desk can be comfortably sat at. The desk has a real presence and is attributed to Gillow.
