Width: 39"
Period: George III

A George III card table. Made from well figured Cuban mahogany, the table is banded on the top and frieze in kingwood and has decorative marquetry inlaid fans. It has square moulded legs, double gates and the top opens to reveal a baized interior. At 39″ (100cm) wide it is slightly wider than usual giving it good presence and this table could easily act as a console table as well as a card table. The overall quality, colour and patination are all excellent and this is a very decent example of such a table.
