Made from best quality Cuban mahogany, the table with a shaped top that opens to reveal a baized interior with corner candle stands. With a single drawer in a frieze that is decorated with a carved moulding the table stands on well shaped cabriole legs that have bold claw & ball feet and decorative foliate carving. It is of excellent quality and a completely untouched wax patinated colour. This table is narrower than usual and a great example of a mid eighteenth century  piece of furniture.
