A George III Bow Front Sideboard

Width: 54"

Period: George III

Location: Hungerford

A George III Sideboard. Dating from the late Hepplewhite/early Sheraton period, the sideboard is made from Cuban mahogany and has satinwood bandings to the top and drawer fronts. It has twin deep cellaret drawers centred by central drawer all with decorative marquetry inlaid fans. The sideboard stands on square fluted legs with block spade feet. The colour and patination are both excellent and this is a really decent example of a George III bow front sideboard.

"At only 54" wide, this is a really great George III bow front sideboard in terms of quality, colour and patination."
