Dating from the Victorian period, this table is made from walnut and the figured tilt top is inlaid with fine quality decorative marquetry. With its carved base, this would most likely have been a cabinet makers specimen piece, used to demonstrate to a potential client what he could supply in full size. It is of very good quality and colour.
